Garden House Haarlem is located in the Zuiderhout district, a quiet 'village in the city' known for its historicity. It is situated between the Spaarne river and the ancient Haarlemmer Hout city forest. The Garden House is just south of the Haarlem city centre and next to a Montessori kindergarten.

The train station of both Haarlem and Heemstede-Aerdenhout lie on either side of the Garden House Haarlem. The easiest way to reach the Garden House is by taking bus 340 from the Haarlem central station and get off at the stop called 'Blauwe Brug' in Heemstede. From there, it is only a 4-minute walk to the Garden House.

Travelling from Haarlem to the Amsterdam central station by train takes only 15 minutes.

The A9 motorway

*	On the A9 between Amsterdam and Alkmaar take exit 'Haarlem Zuid'.
*	Go to the right towards Haarlem.
*	Continue the road with some gentle bends.
*	After about 5 km you will pass the white movable bridge over the river Spaarne .
*	After the bridge just follow the road with curves; after about 550 meters you turn left at the second traffic light (to 'Kleine Houtweg').
*	The Kleine Houtweg changes - after a left turn and a right turn - into the Churchilllaan.
*	Following the Churchilllaan you will find Garden House Haarlem after 100 meters on your left side, at number 68.
